FAMILY BASED VISAS
Overview: The Immigration and Nationality Act allows for the immigration of foreigners to the United States based on relationship to a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
 
V-2 Children GC holders
 

  • Children of a Green Card holder whose petition was submitted and filed on or before December 21, 2000, and has been waiting at least three years since the petition was submitted and filed, but an immigrant visa is not yet available

  • Children of a Green Card holder whose petition was submitted and filed on or before December 21, 2000, and has been waiting at least three years since the petition was submitted and filed, but there is a pending adjustment of status application
